What is IkumiHost and how does it work?

IkumiHost puts the websites that your AI builds online. Your AI (like Claude) writes and edits the pages; IkumiHost keeps them online, secure and fast, at your own web address.

The idea in one minute

  1. You ask your AI to build or change your website, as you would ask a person.
  2. Your AI works on the files on your computer: the pages, the text, the photos.
  3. You say "publish", and your AI sends the files to IkumiHost.
  4. Your website is live, and the AI tells you the address.

The IkumiHost plugin is what lets your AI talk to IkumiHost. You add it once and sign in; after that you only talk to your AI.

What your AI can do with IkumiHost

  • Look at your website: see which files it has, read a page, and tell you the address.
  • Change it: upload new or changed pages and photos, or fix a small piece of text directly on the website.
  • Publish: make all the changes live at once.
  • Tidy up: remove files you don't want. They go to a trash for 7 days, so your AI can bring one back if you change your mind.
  • Work on a copy: download your website to your computer to keep working on it.

Your AI can only reach your own website. It can't see or change anyone else's.

What IkumiHost takes care of

  • Hosting: your website is always online, even if you close your AI or turn off your computer.
  • Security: every site gets the padlock (HTTPS) automatically. Nothing to set up or renew.
  • Speed: visitors anywhere in the world get a fast website.
  • Contact forms: if a page has a contact form, it works on its own and each message is emailed to your account address.
  • Your own address: use a domain you already own, or get a new one, like yourbusiness.com. We do the technical setup. See pricing for what each plan includes.

What kind of websites?

IkumiHost hosts static websites: pages made of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and images, which is what AIs build best. Sites that need their own server program or database aren't supported. Each file can be up to 10 MB, and your plan includes an amount of storage, shown on your dashboard.

For the curious

The plugin works through MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard that lets an AI use outside services. IkumiHost provides an MCP server at mcp.ikumihost.com, and the AI calls its actions (list files, upload, publish...) for you.

Your files don't travel through the AI's conversation: they go straight from your computer to IkumiHost's storage.

What happens after the trial?

You get 15 days free, with no payment details. If the trial ends without a subscription, your website stays online, but your AI can't change it until you subscribe.

Your data

IkumiHost receives only what's needed to host your website: the files you publish and your account details. It doesn't receive your conversations with your AI. Read the privacy policy for details.
